Nancy L. DeCarr M.A., CCC-A, FAAA

Nancy L. DeCarr M.A., CCC-A, FAAA brings to BMC a diverse business and clinical background.  Nancy completed her undergraduate degree in speech pathology and audiology at Ithaca College and received her graduate degree in audiology from Montclair State. She obtained clinical hours at Lahey Clinic in Burlington and the Boston Veterans Administration. Her Clinical Fellowship year was completed at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. After working several years as a clinical audiologist for a solo practitioner, Nancy started a private hearing aid dispensing practice.  This practice became affiliated with Northeast ENT where she coordinated and supervised audiology staff and services for two medical offices. 

In April of 2006, Nancy accepted the opportunity to become Director of the Hearing Aid Department at Boston Medicals Daniels Hearing Center.  Nancy specializes in the fitting and servicing of a wide range of state-of-the-art hearing aids. These hearing aids are custom fit with the proper specifications to suit the patient's hearing loss and personal needs.  At Daniels Hearing Center, Nancy also fits custom noise and water protection products to patients of all ages as well as assistive listening devices..  She also provides ear level monitors to singers, broadcasters and others in the entertainment industry.  In addition to these services, Nancy works in conjunction with teachers and parents to ensure the proper placement of school and personal FM systems when indicated.
